Just yesterday we walked past the robot horse from the 2024 Olympics (the one that flew over Seine and is now in front of Musee Arts et Metiers) and then we were playing a game where we could only walk in the shadows - both of which I quickly recorded with whisper memos and asked to add to my story repository as ideas for future characters/storylines of the games the children play on the roofs..
I think it’s Judy Blume who calls her little notebook full of story inspiration a ‘writer’s blanket’. I wouldn’t have believed a writer’s blanket could be augmented, but you just convinced me otherwise
