I am exclusively steeped in American english. Do you find the languages you interact with sidestep the problem Le Guin recognized?

My French is still at the level of a persistent toddler, and I don't have the command to express anything too complicated with it - but it might make my communication more confrontational, not less :D (I have lots of thoughts towards Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis and other linguistic relativity schools, since I regularly work in three natural languages and quite a few programming langugaes..). Somehow Le Guin still resonates best with my mother tongue Finnish in which I do my thinking and which is the language I use to "reprogram" my thinking processes if needed..
